Favourite Hole at The Links
"My favourite hole has to be the Par 5 13th - it's a beautiful hole that is framed by the stunning Outeniqua mountain range.
It is a reachable Par 5 for the longer hitters, but requires a precise tee shot that is threaded between the fairway bunker on the left and the right margin of the fairway.
The second shot of about 225m needs much deliberation as a slight miss-hit will cause you to be in the fairway bunker 40 meters short of the green, leaving a very tough shot indeed!
The green itself is a raised plateau green that is divided by a ridge through the middle, making any chips or pitches around the green a bit tricky.
The hole will hardly ever rush up any numbers, but demands quality shots in order to earn a birdie."
